SCHSPA is a member of the ANCOR network. Collaboratively, we work to shape federal and state policy.

About ANCOR:

ANCOR exists to advance the ability of their members to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to fully participate in their communities. For more than a half-century, ANCOR has worked to shape policy and share solutions to strengthen the ability of community-based providers to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. ANCOR’s 2500 members operate in nearly every corner of the country to make inclusion a reality for people of all abilities.

This is Accomplished through:

ANCOR offers leadership and representation for the needs and interests of private providers before Congress and federal agencies, continually advocating for the crucial role private providers play in enhancing and supporting people with disabilities and their families to live full lives and be included in their communities.

ANCOR provides organizational, professional and leadership development, plus networking opportunities to share innovations and leading practice in service delivery, in addition to creating partnerships and collaborations that support their members in offering quality supports and services.

ANCOR’s goal is to be the indispensable leader, resource and advocate for a diverse private disability services network that ensures full citizenship and engage community participation for people with disabilities of all ages.
